Analytica is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support one or more dynamic, long-term federal government enterprise data programs. This will support a federal healthcare agency data governance technical delivery, leveraging Microsoft 365, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI), API integrations, and Azure cloud services, focused on supporting PowerApps development, PowerBI reporting, workflow automation, script creation, user support and documentation

This is a hybrid role with a requirement of three on-site days per week.

 
Responsibilities include (but not limited to): 

  • Build PowerApps applications (e.g., forms, conditional logic, validation rules, controls, mobile-responsive layouts) 

  • Develop automated data collection scripts (SQL queries, PowerShell scripts, cloud CLI commands retrieving resource configurations, Python scripts) 

  • Develop Power Automate workflows (e.g., notification triggers, escalation logic, error handling with retry, approval routing based on business rules) 

  • Create Power BI visualizations (e.g., KPI cards, charts, DAX measures, row-level security filters) 

  • Engineer scripts converting data and metadata to standards-compliant JSON-LD file formats aligned data governance, data quality, metadata, Classification Gate logic requirements. 

  •  Develop API integration workflows, handle API errors and edge cases, test API integrations, and support API troubleshooting. 

  • Support overall platform onboarding and develop, including user issue troubleshooting, training, and knowledge base content. Provide real-time application support (troubleshoot issues during stakeholder sessions, quickly deploy fixes preventing workflow disruption, ensure continuous productivity for end users) 

  • Execute data quality checks and support data integrity tests. 

  • Support integration and data exchange testing, validation, and issue resolution, ensuring validation of data transformation, compliance, and security gate solutions. 

  • Maintain development backlog and task tracking, participate in backlog grooming sessions, contribute to sprint planning, coordinate cross-team dependencies, and maintain technical roadmap visibility. 

  • Develop technical specifications (e.g., field mapping traceability matrices, document API endpoint configurations, ServiceNow ticket creation URL/authentication/headers, workflow logic diagrams), user-facing guides, and operational procedures. 

 Basic Qualifications: 

  • Experience: 3+ years software development experience with hands-on Power Platform development (PowerApps canvas apps, Power Automate cloud flows, Power BI) and production deployments. 

  • Power Platform Expertise: Proficiency building enterprise Power Platform solutions: canvas apps with conditional logic and data connectors, flows with parallel branches and error handling, and dashboards with DAX measures and row-level security. 

  • Azure Cloud Services: Proficiency with Azure AD, Azure Monitor/Application, resource organization. GovCloud/FedRAMP exposure preferred. 

  • API Development: Experience developing APIs in production applications (requests handling, OAuth 2.0 authentication, error codes, retry logic, testing, etc.) 

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in multiple languages, including R, JavaScript, SQL, Python 

  • Data Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with metadata standards (NIST, DCAT, DMBOK2 preferred) or ability to rapidly learn and implement specifications from documentation 

  • Government Experience: Prior Federal government project experience with FedRAMP/FISMA/HIPAA compliance understanding preferred 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (Power Platform App Maker, Power Platform Functional Consultant, Power Platform Developer) 

  • Azure certifications 

  • Healthcare domain experience, prior DHA, or military health system (MHS) experience 

  • PHI/PII data handling and HIPAA security requirements 

  • Data governance framework knowledge (DAMA-DMBOK, DQ, data management) 

  • SharePoint development experience 

  • Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
