UX Researcher

Remote - Full Time

Analytica is seeking a UX Researcher to join our dynamic team supporting a large digitalization effort; supporting search efforts and user-centered journey mapping, developing workflow update recommendations. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and engineers, to integrate user insights into the design process. There will be some travel involved to various client sites throughout the US.

Responsibilities include (But Are Not Necessarily Limited To):

  • User Research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies, to gather insights about user experiences and needs.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze research data to identify patterns, trends, and user pain points. Synthesize findings into actionable insights.
  • Persona Development: Create user personas and journey maps based on research findings to guide design decisions.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Develop low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes for testing concepts and iterating based on user feedback.
  • Usability Evaluations: Plan and conduct usability tests on existing products and features to assess user experience and identify areas for improvement.
  • Documentation: Document research methodologies, findings, and recommendations clearly for team members and stakeholders.
  • Staying Current: Keep up with the latest trends, tools, and methodologies in HCD and UX research to continually enhance skills and processes.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for the user perspective within the organization, promoting user-centered practices across teams.
  • Reporting: Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring that insights inform design strategies and product development.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience (UX) Design, or related field
  • 3+ years experience as a Design Researcher  
  • Demonstrated understanding of User-centered or Human-centered design principles, User Experience Research including journey mapping, and other best practices in design or management consulting (e.g., ethnography, prototyping, business)
  • Experience with Agile methodology, 
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Active IRS MBI Security Clearance
