Analytica is seeking a Client Services Director to provide proactive IT project management and program growth for a portfolio of technology projects serving Homeland Security and Financial Regulatory Clients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with federal clients to deliver complex, enterprise IT products, identify and capture organic growth, and support new business pursuits and proposals.  Applicants should hold or be able to obtain a Tier 3 federal public trust clearance and be comfortable working in a hybrid environment (on-site several days a week) engaged in Bethesda Maryland and/or client site location as required.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to): 

Program and Project Management: 

  • Accountable for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of program and project management within portfolio of projects covering predominantly Homeland Security and Law Enforcement federal clients.  
  • Manage high profile program or project Agile delivery ceremonies and activities as required, including Program Increment Planning, Epic / User stories creation, product and sprint backlog grooming, daily stand-up meetings, scrum-of-scrum meetings, JIRA board management, sprint reviews, and retrospectives 
  • Responsible for portfolio delivery and CPARS, financials and staffing - ensuring projects are achieving financial goals and targets. Oversee other project managers and program managers to ensure the portfolio of projects and staff billable targets are achieved 
  • Mentor and manage other project managers and team leads, to ensure assigned portfolio of projects are exceeding client expectations and meeting or exceeding profit targets. 
  • Serve as a key member of program management office (PMO) council to help drive organizational project delivery maturity and improvements 
  • Regularly interface with federal client executives and senior leadership to ensure project delivery and value is aligned to federal client current and future requirements  

People Management: 

  • Lead a key, growing portfolio within a dynamic consulting organization 
  • Build and develop next generation leaders through identification of high potential staff, ensuring development plans are in place and actioned against, in partnership with HR 
  • Build and support a culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion for all staff and encourages growth, development, and mobility opportunities for team members. 
  • Manage a team of direct reports to help foster a collaborative, proactive and industry leading federal consulting organization 
Growth and Business Development: 
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships and client perceived Analytica value with Senior Government clients and officials, key partners, stakeholders. 
  • Identify and create sustained, successful organic growth in new adjacent and existing clients, stakeholders and accounts. 
  • Actively participate in key business development activities and decision making, from opportunity evaluation through supporting hands-on capture activities in collaboration with a growth capture manager or executive 
  • Proactively support the proposal response process, from participating in solutioning to proposal writing, reviewing and development, including creating basis of estimate (staffing) and delivery for project pursuits. 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or a related business field 
  • Minimum 10 years’ PM experience with extensive experience managing complex and multi-faceted technology, data or analytics projects in an Agile or Agile SAFe environment 
  • Current Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred 
  • Prior experience working in a dynamic consulting or mid-tier government technology services business strongly preferred 
  • Experience delivering and engaging with federal clients with Homeland Security,  Law Enforcement, or Federal Financial Regulatory agencies strongly preferred 
  • U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain the Public Trust clearance
