Senior Software Engineer
The ideal candidate has strong full-stack development experience, hands-on expertise with Azure cloud services, and the ability to translate business and mission requirements into robust technical solutions. This role will collaborate closely with developers, architects, data engineers, product owners, and government stakeholders in an Agile environment

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern development frameworks and Azure cloud technologies.
- Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using React, Angular, or similar JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Build scalable back-end services, APIs, and microservices using C#, .NET/.NET Core, Python, or similar technologies.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and other services to support application and data integration requirements.
- Leverage Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure
- Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Key Vault.
- Implement cloud-native application architectures using microservices, serverless computing, containers, and event-driven patterns
- Develop and optimize database solutions using SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, or other relational and NoSQL technologies.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives. Collaborate with technical architects and stakeholders to evaluate technical approaches and recommend solutions.
- Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, API documentation, and deployment procedures.
- Support modernization efforts, including migration of legacy applications to Azure cloud-native architectures.
- Ensure solutions comply with applicable federal security, privacy, accessibility, and data management requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with significant experience in full-stack application development.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) and/ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Hands-on experience developing applications in Microsoft Azure.
- Strong experience with at least one modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong back-end development experience with C#/.NET, Python, or similar technologies.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and web services.
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL. Experience with Git and modern source-control practices. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, application architecture, testing, and deployment practices. Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of U.S. federal government security clearance or suitability, if required by the program.
