Senior Healthcare Business Analyst
Analytica is seeking a Senior Healthcare Business Analyst to support federal consulting client’s mission operating requirements through applying innovative, data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in both a consulting and delivery capacity to tackle complex, enterprise cloud or on-premises software and technology projects. General Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
- Work with the Defense Health Agency and other federal health care mission organizations to study and understand the organizational mission, vision, value proposition, strategic focus areas, operating models, and stakeholder requirements.
- Provide expert advice on program evaluation techniques, e.g. industrial design, process improvement, performance measurement (quality, safety, access, and cost), health care capacity planning, and advanced analytics to the DOD, DHA, and AED.
- Experience in support of the DHA (J5) AED in measuring and assessing performance, MHS Strategy Measures Dashboard development, ADHCA Review & Analysis Dashboard, or other future initiatives with which the DHA may be required to participate, is preferred and can be used to differentiate an Offeror’s proposal.
- Functionally, this resource will have a deep understanding of both commercial plan and provider operations and in-depth knowledge of the challenges facing the MHS.
- Technically, the Management Analyst – Senior will have demonstrated experience in leveraging MHS systems, analyzing MHS data, and providing recommendations to clients that are aligned with the MHS strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience and the ability to lead or supervise a team of business and technical analysts supporting multiple work-streams including the development and sustainment of a Cost, Quality, and Patient Safety analytics tools.
- Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Experience with the Department of Defense or a Federal health care entity
- Experience in a private sector of health care
- Experience with building and maintaining client relationships
- Possession of excellent critical thinking, analytical, quantitative, and data-gathering skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills
