Director of Proposals
Analytica is seeking a hands-on Director of Proposals to lead federal proposal development (RFPs, RFIS, etc), content marketing (whitepapers, case studies, website, etc) and proposal operations. The ideal candidate has strategic leadership and management experience and enjoys being hands on writing and managing proposals to build a consistent voice, brand and messaging for a mid-sized, fast-growing company environment.

- Lead the proposal process from bid approval through submission. This includes "owning" the document, communicating proposal needs and expectations to team, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and company standards.
- Develop and oversee proposal strategies and creation of proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with client mission to maximize evaluation criteria.
- Collaborate across the company, including business development, capture management, and technical experts, to develop compelling and competitive proposals
- Oversee building and managing external facing marketing content (RFI's, whitepapers, case studies, blogs, website, blog and conference materials) to communicate one consistent voice, messaging and brand.
- Oversee Proposal Center development and maintenance of repository of training materials, reusable content, project profiles, experience matrices/overviews, capability statements, etc. Collaborate with operations to capture and develop performance proofs and client testimonials.
- Lead proposal and writing workshops, black hat sessions, collaboration sessions, proposal reviews, and orals presentation preparation.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Training in Shipley strongly preferred
- At least 10+ years demonstrated experience managing and winning federal proposals in a proposal or capture management role.
- Demonstrated success in managing people and effectively influence others with and without authority; setting and communicating goals and expectations, measuring accomplishments, holding staff members accountable, delegating responsibility, keeping staff members informed, coaching, mentoring, reinforcing positive behavior and managing conflict
- Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities to direct writing/editing/rewriting efforts, as needed
- Proven ability to leverage new technology to streamline processes and content (Microsoft Sharepoint, Teams, Planner Boards, CoPilot, LLMs)
- Comfortable with a dynamic, fast paced environment under tight deadlines where you are working in a small team.
- Expertise with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Teams / SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat PDF programs
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain the Public Trust clearance.
