Analytica is seeking a  remote Database Architect to support an enterprise-wide data environment for a high-profile federal client. As part of our team, you will work with a diverse group of sophisticated professionals to lead database design and development.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to): 

  • Design and implement data models and database designs and data access capabilities for business intelligence data warehouses
  • Optimize database performance through appropriate database design and configuration
  • Ensure data security and data privacy by following industry best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design data models that meet those requirements
  • Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies in the field of data management

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or other scientific or quantitative fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in data management, data warehousing, database administration, and data access solutions
  • Solid knowledge of data mining and acquisitions, database architecture, database administration, data migration, data replication, data archive recovery, database structure systems design, data modeling, database analysis, and metadata repository creation
  • Significant understanding of databases, primarily SQL Server and/or other relational and non-relational databases including IBM DB2
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
