Hiring Process at Analytica

At Analytica, we follow a structured hiring process to ensure we select the best candidates for our team. Here is an overview of our hiring process:

Recruiter's Call: The process begins with a recruiter reaching out to potential candidates. During this initial call, the recruiter will provide an overview of the position and gather preliminary information about the candidate's background and experience.

Rounds of Interviews: Based on the initial call and the hiring manager's approval, the recruiter will establish direct interviews with the team. There may be multiple rounds of interviews that is designed to assess the candidate's qualifications, skills, and fit for the role.

Final Decision: After the interviews, the hiring team will review the candidate's performance and make a final decision. If the team decides to present an offer, the recruiter will directly call the candidate to discuss details such as salary, benefits, start date, etc. Others will also be notified through email or a call.

Impersonation Scams

We would like to bring to your attention the increasing number of impersonation scams targeting organizations worldwide. These scams involve individuals pretending to be someone from the hiring team such as HR manager or recruiters, to deceive you into providing sensitive information or making unauthorized transactions.

To protect yourself, please follow these guidelines:

Verify the Sender: Always double-check the sender's email address and contact details. If something seems off, do not hesitate to reach out to the person directly using a known and trusted communication method.

Be Cautious with Requests for Sensitive Information: Be wary of any unexpected requests for sensitive information, such as passwords, financial details, or personal data. Legitimate organizations will never ask for such information via email.

Look for Red Flags: Pay attention to any unusual language, spelling mistakes, or urgent requests that pressure you to act quickly. These are common signs of a scam.

Report Suspicious Activity: If you receive a suspicious email or message, report it immediately to our IT department. Do not respond or click on any links or attachments.

Stay Informed: Keep yourself updated on the latest scam tactics and best practices for cybersecurity. Regularly attend training sessions and read our security bulletins.

Analytica is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to remotely support a high-profile financial regulatory client with a data and analytics program. The ideal candidate will provide hand-on support in developing data pipelines and analytics solutions within an AWS environment.

Responsibilities include:

Provide statistical analysis and model development using programming languages.
Develop analytics solutions that are scalable, repeatable, effective, and meet the expectations of the decision-makers and stakeholders
Perform data analysis, research and data manipulation tasks
Perform queries and interpret business data requests to create efficient queries
Directly support users by developing advanced reporting and analytics.
Work with project stakeholders and the software development team to develop data analysis
Assisting users in choosing data sources and discovering new methods for achieving goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or any other quantitative field.
3+ years’ experience in data analysis or analytical field
Ability to extract data, transform data, manipulate data and perform analysis
Demonstrated knowledge of data concepts and experience working with data architects in the design of database schemas.
Strong skills in various data analysis and visualization tools including SQL Server, Tableau, Python, R, SAS, Excel and PowerPoint
Proficiency with statistical tools (SAS, R) and analysis is preferred.
Experienced in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP) are a plus
Must be a US citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public trust security clearance for the supported agencies
